This summer, Go Native has teamed up with Sustainable Coastlines to turn used sails into aprons and tote bags. The project diverts used sails from landfill and will raise much-needed funds to clean up and protect New Zealand coastlines and waterways. $10 from every bag and apron sold goes directly to Sustainable Coastlines education and waterway restoration projects. The goal is to raise $20,000.

Go Native was inspired to make use of sails left over from 2018 Volvo Ocean Around the World winning yacht Dongfeng, Go Native had sold fruit bars and ready to eat meals to Dongfeng for the race.

Each tote bag and apron is unique to the recycled sail and rope and has a bold and fun pop of colour. They're perfect for a kiwi summer BBQ, a day at the beach and the bag is great for everyday use."

Get your Christmas shopping done, at the same time you’re helping raise funds for Sustainable Coastlines – it’s a win for you and a big win for New Zealand.
